besides the beautiful Sindh River. And has

Sonomarg is the starting point
for mid to high altitude trekking routes.

Pahalgam
- [ means Meadow of Shepherds ] - 95 kms at 2,130 meters is
the most popular hill resort in the Kashmir Valley. Ideallysituated
at the junction of the Lidder and Sheshnag streams and deep
in thick pine. Besides the rushing mountain stream, it offers
some excellent trout fishing beats, scenic short walks and
for the more adventurous, long treks to the Kolahoi Glacier
or to the scared Amarnath Cave.
Gulmarg
- [ means Meadow of Flowers
] - 60 kms at 2,740 meters,a valley full of flowers,where
Emperor Jehangir, it is said, once collected 21 different
varieties of flowers.
Gulmarg also offers a view of one of the highest mountains
….the Nanga Parbat Mountain. A day at Gulmarg will put
you on the world's highest 18-hole
golf course. 
Yousmarg
- 55 kms…is a small meadow set in the heart of the mountains,
south west of Srinagar and is reputed to have the best spring
flowers in Kashmir.. Yousmarg is
an ideal picnic spot.
